I doubt that very much.

Look back to 03-05 and u tell me hardstyle is better now....
Its all bunky jumpstyle influenced...Hardstyle is evolving and I dont like...

Unless you're producing your own material then stuff that is generally being released now is wank.

One of our members quoted that video, after the first few minutes the crowd's hands dropped and stopped dancing!

But I did notice, at least they still moved about abit, in a bored fashion?

I agree with you that jumpstyle is wank, it's that wank i never hear it out thank fuck like, but i disagree with you and everone else that goes on and on oh no hardstyle aint as good no more oh no, Bollocks i say, yea it has evolved just like all music does, but hardstyle is still like what it was and @ the same time it's a little different aswell, wheater people think it's for the better on not, but i personally think hardstyle is just as good now as it was a few years ago, and in some cases it's better now, it just baffles me why people go and it aint just for hardstyle it's for loads of things, they go "oh it aint what it used to be is it" Like what!!??

Hard Style / Hard Dance in my Opinion Is Just as good now like it was years ago, but in some cases now it's better, apart from all that jump, techy nonsense like ;p

FUNKY BEATS ARE HERE! Oh yes!
Thanks Rom, really enjoyed the vid at top of the first page. Agree with an earlier comment about the Snowman-Walking in the air bit, not good, but I would gladly marry that first track! Does anyone know where the 'funky beat' sample comes from? it sounds familiar, prob an old hip hop track.......oh & what that first track is called?

I know that all music has to evolve, but i just dont like what hardstyle is now. Dont get me wrong there will still be a few tracks that are released now that i like, but 90% of whats about now i just dont like. Maybe I'm gettin too old for it all now haha.

Hardhouse still beats it by a long shot! ;)

Can somebody help me here? I'm a little out of touch with current dance music. Can someone explain the differences between- Hardcore (I think I may know this already, although some I've heard sounds like old skool Gabba!), Hardstyle, Hard dance, Hard house & finally, what on earth is Jumpstyle? Sorry to sound stupid but I've locked in a cupboard for 10 years!

Personally i cant stand hard house, it all sounds the same, you always know hardhouse choons from that stupid donk sound that is always present in hardhouse choons..

And i wouldn't say rave culture is dead, but it is very different from the good old days, for example, the music is different the rules and restrictions are different, the drugs are different and so is the attitude, personally i think the attitude in a lot of todays raves sucks big hairy ballbags, I think it has something to edo with the shite drugs and the other drugs people do in raves that was unheard of back in the early 90s like coke n ket, these two drugs dont exactly make you the happiest of ravers to say the least.

looking at videos from back in the day, people always had a smile on there face and waved, people in the videos of today, give out evils and stick there fingers up at ther cameras, that says a lot for todays raves in my eyes.

stick there fingers up at ther cameras,

Since I have been a spotter, only one Shit-Head had done that to our photographer (I work as part of a Team called "U.S. Publishing) and I told him "Don't expect the photo to be uploaded, Bye-Bye").

Put it that way, it was at an Event few people liked anyhow, LOL! The Events run by Bionic have the Nicest People you can meet, Respect To Them!

Nahhh Jinx, the events I go to are diferent, but are in a lot of ways just as good, but it was all New Stuff in the 90's, but as I had said a lot of Oldskool is mixed into the New Vibes!

You've probably only listened to the commercialised bullshit bounce that the likes of Andy Whitby plays.

Have a listen to this and see what you think..

Hi Joe. I think that is what your name is!
Great mix, & I'm only a tenth into it! But what style is it? Please refer to my earlier question.
I do like this mix. But I also like to put a genre on it so I know what I'm listening to by name of style only! But to be honest I don't like putting a label to things, but everything these days has to have a sub-genre. Wrong, I know! If I like something, I like something! It's not the 60's, we don't still have Mods & Rockers! Putting a label on something is dividing the community of dance. Sorry if this message sounds muddled, but as I mentioned earlier, I've been locked in a cupboard for the last 10 years & want to know how seperate these genres are? It seems that someone can listen to Hard dance & not like Hard house, & they're putting a barrier up!

Thanks JinxC. This bit I understand now! It seems to me that the original rave/hardcore from the early Nineties has split too much. but hey, that's progress!

Okay I have downloaded the MP3, I thought it would be a single, fair does, a CD-length MP3 will give me something to bite into.

Seeing its 02.30 in the morning I'll let ya know tomorrow, I'd listened to about 2 minutes and for what it's worth it had got me interested because it wasn't what I'd expected, meaning it's better!

So until tomorrow / this evening Joe.

Was the fingers meant in an agressive manner or just a laugh manner, because more than a few people nowadays stick there fingers up to the camera in a haveing a laugh way that's all.

One of the biggest names in hard dance and he's shit, i mean he plays all old hard house remixed bounched style and it sounds bollocks, No Offence like.

Still baffles me that does, as he aint really Bionic Material, but he allways rocks it there though, so i guess that's why he keeps getting booked in it lol ;p
