Mark Sherry (AKA Outburst / Public Domain – 2008 biography

The 15th edition of Trance Energy in Holland this year was closed by Scotlands very own Mark Sherry. With a crowd of 30,000 plus and all the big legends of trance like Tiesto, Marco V, Ferry Corsten and Sander van Doorn all present at the event, Mark completely smashed the main stage to bits with his tech-trance closing set. It's this energy, charisma, wealth of experience and sheer talent behind the decks that has got everyone talking about him over the last few years. Mark's hard work has earned himself a residency with Q-dance for their huge events like DefQon & In Qontrol where he can be found tearing it up with his unique style of DJ'ing. This year also marks the return of him playing at Dance Valley (where he will be playing on the massive HQ stage) and back playing at Gatecrasher's Summer Sound System following on from his mind-blowing headline performance with Public Domain in 2000 which was one of the most televised and talked about clubbing events on the TV thanks to Rapture Television. Some of the biggest UK events like Inside Out, Slinky, Tidy, Storm, Coloursfest & Fantasylands (Colours) have all snapped up Mark for one of his sets this year too. These very high profile UK and European gigs coupled with his sell out events in Australia at the Q-dance, Transmission & Pharmacy parties prove that Mark is simply on an unstoppable roll just now.

In the studio Marks production skills also seriously aid his popularity within his huge worldwide fanbase. His solo releases, collabs and Public Domain projects are signed to some of the best trance and tech-trance labels in the world like 'Captivating Sounds' & 'Soundpiercing' (part of Armin van Buuren's 'Armada' group), Paul van Dyk’s label ‘Vandit Digital’ and also Marco V's own label 'In Charge'. Mark is also signed to the ever popular Detox tech-trance label for all of his Outburst releases and also plays a very big part in the A&R of the label. All of these projects, accolades and achievements combined with his solid commitment to the dance music scene all add up to give you one very serious DJ..look out for Mark Sherry banging out some serious tunage near you soon !!

'Mark Sherry's Outburst Radioshow' goes out weekly every Friday on the biggest dance internet based station in the world Digitally Imported. It is now also streamed on the Dutch super-events company 'Q-dance' radio also. The show is a cutting edge dance show that is mainly made up of tech-trance but also manages to twist and turn through everything from tech-house to electro and techno !!'

Big Big thanks to every 1 that made it down last night...

the night started off perfect with skutz making his debut... very nice mixing he didnt let nerves get to him which was great...

Next up was boco and dermo who impress me more and more every time i see them .,,, they work so well together its worryin... similar to sasha and digweed or tidy boys in the way they seem to work off each other... they will destroy the place on the 11 th with scotty and kamui

next up was wexford dj Barry Sommers who played a stormer with lots of scratching that went down very very well...alot people asking who was he as his set was top drawer

then up stepped Hedliners ken sheehan who had got delayed on the way from cork but made the most of his short set and rocked the place...

Then we had kilkenny hero Boo-k play a mixed set of classics and lots of bootlegs that went down a storm... think he finished with class mix "The night train"...@This stage point the floor was buzzin with nice crowd from all over

Last up was mister Mark Sherry...he ripped the zoo a new ass whole with a blindin set..hes defo of form as late as his productions are all gettin heavy support but his set is what caught the eye last night and its defo a night the zoo crowd wont forget... he started with the sample "tonight were going start a new revolution " that got the place rocking... he played alot his new tracks that went down a storm... when he dropped scot projects mix of operation blade i thought the place going explode

Again thanks to every one that came down... See ye all @Leon Bolier next Saturday then Scot ~Project &Kamui on the 11 th oct
