I'd like to show my support to Steve Gillen, top DJ and untouchable producer. Steve's worked hard at producing some seemless tracks, along with releasing the tunes on to vinyl himself. He's worked with some of the most prestegious producers in HardHouse, these tracks can be found on Delete the Weak Records.
Latest DTW release now out !
Mix Mag Review:
A Solid release from a label that's gathering pace. 'Wonder' on the A side is a growling, bass laden hard houser that borrows heavily from the genre but still manages to stand out with a neat use of vocal samples throughout. 'Get Over You' has more of an old skool vibe about it, but still scores high on the likeability factor. These are two good tracks from Amp Attack and label boss Steve Gillen.
Toolbox Say:
The third installment on Delete The Weak for 2007 with two monstrous tracks. Both are by new whiz kid on the block Amp Attack and label boss Steve Gillen. The Warm Up EP features ‘Wonder’ and ‘Get Over You’. Two warm up tracks with a very different spin. A blend of old and new styles, crossing genres for something a bit different to woo the dancefloor!
Hard To Find Records say:
WONDER / GET OVER YOU
Two fresh cuts from the popular delete the weak label. Titled as the "warm up ep" but we are not really sure what's its spose to be warming up for as it cracks in at a rather hefty pace and is pretty dark in places. Needless to say both tracks are superb and are well worth a listen....

3 track EP Includes: Equator Shaker – Steve Gillen & Karl Davis. The first of two collaborations with ‘Hard Sounds’ & Pure NRG’ main man Karl Davis and DTW label boss Steve Gillen. This is a rollercoaster of a track, with catchy rap vox, razor sharp bass line and quirky funk filled drop outs. A real builder with a no nonsense minimal breakdown, to keep the momentum at full throttle. Ultimate dance floor damage. A very strong lead track on this second EP.
The Running Man – Steve Gillen & Karl Davis. Second up and hot on its heels is this chunky little mover. Running man oozes an older hard house influence and packs a mighty groove. Taking things in a different direction from the first track with a bold, springy bass line over crisp cut percussion. The acid line bubbles along leading into a killer synth riff. This track definitely slaps a grin on your face as you reminisce about the good old days of raving.
Fighting Talk - Nasty Neil E, Steve Gillen vs Tom Parr. Last but by no means least, it’s the dark and broody charge of fighting talk. Right from the off, this holds nothing back. The brash and aggressive stabs give this track an eerie, sinister feel. Is not one for the faint hearted. This track will strike fear into the hearts of any dance floor. You have been warned.
Review in Mix Mag. By Guffy. Equator Shaker / The Running Man / Fighting Talk
Bass in your face with the monsterous Running Man. Label boss and CK resident Steve Gillen features on all three tracks but its the vocal riddled " equator shaker " and " the running man " with its superb, pumped up , steroid induced bassline that causes some fierce teeth clenching in a good way of course.
Simon Eve - DJ MAG. - Steve Gillen & Karl Davis - Equator Shaker - Delete The Weak
Three hard House slammers on this second release for the label, with rapid fire stabs, and hoover samples in 'Equator Shaker' just edging out the snarling synths in 'The Running Man' for instant impact.
