Having only just recovered from the underground dance event of the summer that was Kiddstock 2008, you could be forgiven into thinking Alex Kidd and his Kiddfectious HQ had hung up their AAA passes for the summer ready to take a well deserved rest. How wrong you were to doubt them!!!!!!

Kiddstock ignited the North East last month after weeks of hype culminating in a underground spectacle. The event will always be remembered for all things great about the hard dance scene. Fusing a festival experience on a club-sized scale is a unique concept scene in the dance scene and the intimate experienced by the class of 2007 had matured into something special for the class of 2008. Improved production and a line-up boasting international exclusives tantalised a fine mix of clubbers amongst a spectacular backdrop of traditional English countryside and was the perfect combination for an event that promised so much and delivered greatly. If sleep is for the weak then rest is definitely not a word banded around the Kiddfectious office as the team prepare to take the brand international for the first time.

For as long as anyone can remember Tidy have ruled the hard dance scene in Ibiza with an iron fist hosting weekly events at the infamous Es Paradis club in San Antonio. With weekly guests (including Alex himself) alongside the residents, clubbers have been rationed to a single dedicated hard dance night a week on the island. Variety is the spice of life and Ibiza deserves more....Wednesday 10th September sees Alex fly his Kiddfectious brand over to the white isle for a debut at one of Ibiza’s most notorious venues. ‘Kiddfectious Ibiza’ lands on the island for ‘The Experiment of a Lifetime’ and the team are riding in 5th gear, ready to bring something extra special to the table. Alex has once again maintained his ethos of emerging talent alongside the very best Hard Dance DJs on the planet. With only a small slice of the summer remaining Alex will be pulling out all the stops for his Ibiza friends to make sure that for those that missed out on Kiddstock will get to have one hell of a send off in San An! Alex is joined by BBC Radio 1’s Kutski fresh off the back of securing a weekly Radio 1 show which in itself is a landmark for hard dance. Kutski’s Ibizan appearances are a rarity so this should be an extra special occasion for him and Kiddfectious Ibiza. Alongside the heavyweight duo is the Kiddfectious coalition consisting of Fake DJ, Neal Thomas and Suni Feenix. The line-up is an innovation for the islands hard dance scene oozing technical skill and explosive performances; the DJs offer a variety in sound and style. From the classic old skool flares of the quick-fingered Kutski to the technically astute EFX driven sounds of the Kidd himself, this is a serious line-up and an unmissable prospect for the final weeks of the season.

Proceeding the main event will be the Kiddfectious Sunset Boat Party featuring an exclusive back to back pre-party performance from Alex and Kutski. The duo will be joined by Matt Hadder and Neal Thomas for a 3 hour experience including the stunning Ibizan sunset.
